Precedents are access via Hotdocs apart from Magistrates' Court forms which are Avvoka.  

The County & Supreme Court forms are being released in Avvoka the week of 1st of May and will be disabled from Hotdocs on 18th May.


Follow these instructions to get started with accessing your precedents in HotDocs. 

Please Note: This will be a one off task when you are getting started with HotDocs: 


Step 1: Access HotDocs player 

  • From Start menu to open the HotDocs player 

          


  • Tip: Pin the HotDocs Player app to your taskbar for easy access

         



Step 2: Open the Maddocks Precedent Library 2022 library

 

  • Go to the File tab and select Open library...

         


  • From the drop down, Look In menu, find and select the K: Drive / Maddocks Office 2016 / HotDocs Production Libraries 

         


  • Locate and select the library: Maddocks Live 2022.HDL 

         


  • Click Open. Folders with the precedent templates, will appear in the template list on the left of your screen
