BYOD Instruction Manual for facilities Team on a Maddocks device

 

Small Rooms: 

 

  1. No drivers are required for camera initiation.
  2. Camera view is a zoomed in view and Camera Presets can not be controlled in BYOD mode.
  3. Huddly camera app can be utilised if camera control is required.
  4. How to install Huddly app for camera control from website below, app needs to be downloaded on user laptop and installed.

Downloaded software available in location: \\mel-cm-svr1\Application Control\Meeting Space project drivers

Copy it to user machine prior to installing from this location, does not need admin rights to install.

 

 

 


Medium Rooms:

 

  1. Driver to initiate Huddly camera is required.

    Driver Windows to be run on user’s machine. This driver install will require admin rights to install, pls use the Application folder below to install the drivers. \\mel-cm-svr1\Application Control\Meeting Space project drivers 

  2. Follow step 2,3, 4 as above to control cameras zoom.
  3. Currently issue with using camera set-up software in medium rooms on Maddocks laptops, network adaptor connects the laptop to no network, cutting off wireless network. Investigation is in progress with Experteq team. If this does not get resolved, this issue to be raised with Citadel team.

 

 

Board Rooms:

 

  1. No drivers required for camera control in Boardrooms
  2. Camera can be zoomed in/out using camera remotes
