1. Accessing remote servers using RDP with HYPR


Open ‘remote desktop connection’

- Enter desired remote connection

- Select ‘more choices’ > ‘scan QR code to login’ > ‘Can’t scan the QR code’
 - This will bring up a larger QR code and text code. Scan QR code, or enter text code into HYPR app
 

Scanning this will automatically login to the server. 


2. Admin authentication prompts, Installing, uninstalling applications 


Admin prompts will appear when trying to do such tasks as Add/Remove Programs, Installing manual applications (outside of Application Control), Repair applications


 - 
When trying to perform any of the above, you will be prompted to input admin credentials.  

-  Select ‘more choices’ > ‘scan QR code to login’ > ‘Can’t scan the QR code’
 - This will bring up a larger QR code and text code. Scan QR code, or enter text code into HYPR app



3. Accessing Admin websites for Support


Process remains similar for accessing websites which are required for support.  Helpdesk is able to use the password to login. 


4. Authenticating to Splashtop


- Splashtop is not SSO and they handle the passwords. 
 - After entering the 9 digit code provided by a user, select ‘connect as admin’ and ‘enter credentials by technician’
 - You will be prompted to add in admin credentials 
 
- Select ‘more choices’ > ‘scan QR code to login’ > ‘Can’t scan the QR code’
- This will bring up a larger QR code and text code. Scan QR code, or enter text code into HYPR app
 - Second portion when accessing remote machines- Admin account passwords will stay active
